Weber make a connector pipe to connect patio gas to their Traveller series bbq, here:

Is it possible to buy a version of that which connects to a standard orange propane bottle instead of patio gas?

If that thing on the end of the pipe, on the left, is just a bottle adaptor/tap and the bbq works on full bottle pressure - probably not.

If its an adaptor/ pressure regulator/tap, you should be able to just change it to one to suit the bottle.

The bbq has a regulator in it. The Weber pipe is just a patio gas connector to EN417.

Do you mean its an option to purchase that pipe, remove the patio gas connector and replace it with a orange propane bottle fitting?

I would expect it might be possible, you can swap the high pressure connection and pipe, for a caravan to suit a variety of gas bottles.
