Hi
Can anyone give some advice on how to connect a standard toilet to a cast iron waste outlet with an internal diameter of 75mm?
Thanks
Eric

Hi, you need a coupler, is the connection a 'straight' peice of pipe or is it a socket you need to connect into?? If all you need is to connect to a straight branch then get a fernco rubber connector (70-110mm if i remember right) this uses 2 jubilee clips to seal. not pretty as you can have any colour as long as its black but you can paint em.......if you need to male/female in then you need a differnet connection.....you may get a fernco coupler but cast is usually sealed with hemp/putty or cement to create a seal......without seeing it it's difficult to offer further advice...

forgot to add that you can get toilet pan connectors that reduce to 75mm IF you connect directly to the cast stack......

If a was you a would bite the bullet and up size the branch connection 35mm makes a big diff. If not as prev post said tie a tattie masher to the cistern handle .

thanks Powell30 for your most positive help. it's a straight piece of pipe so the rubber connector with circlip sounds best. any idea where to buy?
thanks again!
Eric
