I plan to relocate a toilet 1m to the left its current location and need some advice on the best way to extend the cast iron pipework.

My plan is to cut the cast iron back to a 50mm stub, use a McAlpine 90 degree drain connector bend and then run standard PVC fittings to the to the new location.

I would appreciate an experts opinion on this plan. I need a good solution as access won't be easy when the new bathroom is fitted.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Provided you can get at least 25mm fall across that 1m distance I think you should be ok.

I wouldn't go with any less fall, as you want sufficient velocity in the flow to get solids around the second bend.
