Connecting devices to new hub.

I've just received a new hub from my internet provider. I've fitted it in place of my old one and have my TV, mobile phones, tablet and laptop connected by WiFi. However, I've been trying to connect my extender for using outside. It is visible on my laptop with the old hub number, it's a TP link, model TL-WA850RE. I've tried accessing the info on their website but just find it gobbledegook. Can anyone provide simple instructions of what I need to do to please.

Change the name and password on your new router back to the same one that was on your old router.

Just reset and relink it .

Thanks for the advice, I have sorted it. I had to load the app on my phone for the extender, it is called Tether. Was then very easy to follow the instructions.
