I'm about to open up a chimney breast and have a multi fuel iron stove fitted in my 1920's house. I'm considering a stove with an intergral or clip-on back boiler to either heat hot water only or even to run some of the radiators to save using so much oil.
On the floor directly above the chimney breast in question is my hot water cylinder (vented/gravity system) although the boiler is sited a fair distance away.
My question is, how easy is it to install such a back boiler into the existing system and can anyone give me an approx. figure for this type of installation (plumbing side only, not inc the stove). I'd consider adding hot water only if adding the rads option is not straight forward.
Looking for guide prices and advice but wont be installing myself, anyone based in North Yorks who fancies quoting please feel free to say so!
Thanks
