I have an existing system, cold water tank in loft, hot cylinder in airing cupboard with shower pump on floor next to this, never had any trouble with the showering capabilities to two showers at same time. Piping to pump comes from cold water tank by a separate outlet, with the pipe from the hot water cylinder from surrey flange.
My wife wants the airing cupboard space so I thought a combination cylinder 180/40ltrs in loft, replacing cold water tank already there, just connect as now. However where do I connect the cold water pipe to pump onto combination pump. Looking at a schematic of a combo cylinder it shows inlet for cold water with ball valve attached but I cannot see any outlet in the 40ltrs tank for the separate outlet to the shower pump. The manufacturer does provide a service for a separate hot water outlet for the hot water, but no mention of cold water outlet for cold water.
Am I missing something?
