Could someone help me with this question please?
I have a standard vented system with hot water tank in airing cupboard and cold water tank in loft.
Is it possible to connect a single outlet shower pump in the pipe that feeds the hot water cylinder from the cold water tank? I am thinking that this way (if possible) every time any hot water tap is turned on (including shower) the pump would activate and push cold water from tank in loft in to hot water cylinder thus increasing the flow as if i have a higher head of water.

I was going to use the pump at the bottom of hot water cylinder between HWC and taps but its too close to bedrooms and noisy.
Cold water to outlets such as shower and bath will be from mains.
Many thanks

No as you'll push hw straight up the vent pipe.
the pump gos on the outlet from the cylinder after vent pipe.

If your running a shower from the pump your better off running the hw and cold off cylinder and cws not mains and through a twin pump.

showers with prefer balanced pressures and lot less problems in the future.

thank you. that was short and sweet.
I can't because it will go straight up the vent pipe. Stupid me.
