Hi, I was at my aunts today and I seen her conservatory is leaking. I'm not sure who she's had our to look at it but she's older and I feel she is getting fobbed off. One has said they don't know and the other has said they need to apply something in the dry.

I think it could be the flashing or the gutter against the house as that's the worst side from inside.

Any ideas would be appreciated

Have a good Christmas and thanks for any replies

Given that there is damp on both sides of the cavity wall, I would say it’s not a flashing leak but water getting in the cavity and running down.

it’s possible water is getting at the window above.

a cavity tray is the best option

if it was a roof flashing leak it would be showing near the conservatory roof.

the RHS could be a lack of a vertical DPC where conservatory frame abuts wall.

A semi solution could be to coat wall in a silane based waterproofer. Don’t bother with budget stuff like Thomsons.
