Hi,
Normally I would give DIY a go myself but feel this is waay beyond my abilities
2 polycarbonate panels need replacing on my lean-to conservatory roof. I've had a guy out to look and quote, but he said it can't be done, because they're fitted in a way with one way clips that aren't meant to be lifted. He also said he can't guarantee they won't leak. Is this correct or am I being pushed in to buying a whole new roof.
It's about 20 year old btw.

Find another guy, one that has a clue.

The "clips" can be lifted, the seals cleaned or renewed, or even the glazing bar renewed, and the new sheets fitted and it all put back together no problem.
