I am just in the process of building a upvc conservatory. It will be full glass so leaves me no real place to fit a radiaotr - so thought about going for the option of underfloor heating. i have looked at acouple of electric systems and they seem fairy good - from the corrospondence |I have had with the company they hvae told me that it should be ok for the principal heating system. Does anyone have any comments or experience with this???? any pointers, help, advice or recommendations would be gr8

Can you not have a ceiling electric heater type ?

Also have a read at this , properly doesn't answer your question though.

You need to take care with a heated conservatory and compliance with Part L of the building regulations.

An unheated conservatory which is seperated from the heated area of the house (typically by a patio door) does not need to comply simply because it is regarded as unheated.

However, if the conservatory is not so seperated, or if it is heated by a fixed heating system, it must comply unless the total floor area is less than 30m2.
