Consolidating 6mm pebbles between patio slabs

I have some very old sand-stone roofing tiles which have been laid as a patio. The joints are of course not actually tight up together! Have started raking out the old cement joints, replacing with 6mm pebbles, which look very good. I would like to make these more permanent and was thinking of pouring in some sort of adhesive otl. on top of them to "stick them together?"
Would welcome advice on what to use and if it's feasible to do it.

Thanks FH, that's the idea I had I suppose. For this area I just need the bonding resin for a DIY job?
