Have just had some road planings spread on an old country drive.
These have been rolled with a good roller. There are some places where I can foresee the planings moving or thinning. Have heard you can consolidate the stuff with diesel fuel, is this the case please, and if so, is there any particular way of applying.

diesel will leach into the ground. This causes awful pollution and will also not do any good to consolidate your roadway.

Diesel 'kills' tarmac, putting it onto planings could possibly cause the lumps to disintegrate even more, leaving you with a load of small stones....

This and the environmental impact, I really wouldnt recommend it!

Bugger the environment...Think Bike  Click, click, click...that`s the sound of the*****s who drive 7 ton vans filling right up the neck of the tank ...only to dump half a gallon on the next roundabout. Diesel and tarmac=lethal   Probably would have your local postie off his pushbike if he cycled up the farm track
