Yes I know its not the best option muddling thorough, but do to lack of funds atm I have have little choice I have found drainage points on end of the manifolds I presume these will do to drain the system ?
All you have to do is turn the cold feed off from the main header tank to the cylinder.
By doing this you will reduce the pressure on the coil, leave it off for few hours and then your check your heating tank to see if its stopped back feeding from coil, if it has then you need a new cylinder
Right so in order to do this all I need to do is , I can merely stop the ball valve this will then stop the cold water flow ?? All I have is the one single Hot water cylinder an Albion indirect cylinder tank. N o other header tanks elsewhere.
