Convert 1 way to 2 way

Guys

Is it possible to convert a one way switch to a 2 way switching system without having to channel the existing switch and cable? i.e. through a JB or similar?
I can't think of one
 
Not really as there is not enough wires at the switch to do it properly. Is surface trunking out of the question?
 
That was my conclusion Spark but you kno on those days when you can't get your head around things?
I just thought I might have been missing something.
