Converting a 2 bed end terrace to a 3 bed

form a corridor down the side of the front bedroom, put another flight of stairs above the existing and convert the loft.

Unless you want to split bed 1 and a window to the side - assuming that's the end of the terrace. But if it's close to another terrace there won't be enoh light.

or do as above but use the new room for a bath or shower room, the existing bathroom becomes a bedroom.

As above, but pull the door to the new Bed 1 closer to the top of the landing. Having a big landing seems a waste of space (IMHO) and although you'd have a bit of a corridor within the bedroom, this means the floor space of the main area won't be impeded by a door. :)

Again without any dimensions a bit pointless really.

@OwainDIYer, doing a lofty is spending £25K odd rather than the £4K odd the OP probably has in mind.
