to make it a bedroom
the garage is attached so the house side (lhs looking in) is cavity wall
the rhs is single block
the rear is single block
to maintain the area we use for laundry the bedroom will not be the whole depth of the garage so there will be a cross wall between the bedroom and the laundry area
the bedroom will have an ensuite toilet with handbasin
the floor of the garage is concrete and 150mm below the house floor level
the roof of the garage is made of timber trusses and at present is boarded to take some storage.
the garage has light, power, hot and cold water supplies
re: insulating the single brick walls and floor of the garage, creating a ceiling and insulating it
what are the best ways to do the floor and walls for insulation and damp proof
cheers
