dear all
Firstly happy new year!
this is the first time we are putting in a kitchen, and as such we have no idea how to convert an 800mm Howden's under bench unit into a sink unit.
We would like to take the back off so we can hide all the pipe work from the sink, does anyone have any tips how to do this ?
many thanks
the Mrs

You should not need to remove the back, it will severely weaken the unit.Just cut holes where you bring pipework thru, pipework may need moving to accommodate this.

Fit the pipework first with stubs protruding from the wall. Slide the unit into position and mark where the pipes are, withdraw the unit and cut holes. Slide the unit back into position with the pipes poking through and secure it.
