I am looking to moving my electric cooker socket currently situated directly above the back hob to an existing socket approximately 1 foot away. What is involved in this and how much do you reckon it would cost for an electrician to do (if it does/doesn't have the required extra length of cable. The back wall is made of brick and I am not too fussed if we need to drill a path to the new location as it will be getting tiled over. Many Thanks in advance.
