Hi, I've recently bought a house that I'm renovating. I've bought a new kitchen which has a built in gas hob and electric double oven. I've already had the electrics rewired and there is only a 13amp socket for cooker. Will this be OK, or do I need to get the electrician back to install a proper cooker socket?

If its fitted with a 13Amp plug then you are ok plugging into a square pin outlet.

I would expect a dbl oven to exceed 13amp. There should be a rating plate on the appliance. Or as previous post unless fitted with 13amp plug.
