Hi,
Builders are installing kitchen in the newly built extension and I'm looking for a good outside cover for the cooker hood vent. The hood has its own anti backdraft flaps, so don't need anything flapping outside.
I like the idea and the look of the bullnose types, and they seem to come in two varieties: with just a mesh, e.g. https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/ADRC6MSS.html, or with fixed louvres and a mesh, e.g. https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/ADRC6SS.html.
Will those with louvres have a bit too much resistance to the flow? Are they worth having or better do without?
P.S. The links are just representative examples, ignore any prices
