Ordered a Range cooker 'Kitchener' complete with hood.

This will be installed against an outside wall. Should the hood be vented to the outside or recycled to the inside of the kitchen.

thanks

it should be vented outside if you want to get rid of steam and hot air.

If you just want to accelerate the spread of grease over everything you can vent inside.

Has to be vented outside for sure . Venting inside would also mean having to replace the carbon filters on a regular basis as these need to be fitted when you vent to the inside but they arn't needed if you vent to the outside .

OK

I know the hood is supplied with Carbon filters, but don't think of any attachments such as kit to go through the wall.

Where would I get a kit to connect to the Hood trunking and to the outside world.

The cooker is being supplied from an online wholesaler.

thanks

Most of the 'sheds' or any decent plumbers merchant should be able to supply the necessary parts. You just need to check the diameter of the outlet from the fan/duct before you buy. Outside venting is always preferable but in odd cases not always achievable.
