anyone got a rough idea of what they consume?

I'm wondering if they can be run from the lighting circuit - baumatic curved glass model, with 2 x 50w halogens, rest of lighting circuit (on 6 amp mcb) has 5 ceiling fittings (assuming 100w max each) and 2 of 4x20w halogens, so without the extractor function I'm on 760 watts.

waiting on delivery of the hood, so will be able to check exact spec, but planning on doing wiring this weekend, before checking by part p spark.

best have it as a spur from the ring main. also, a normal spark cant check your work. he can only check his own work. youll have to get LABC to check your work

but a spark can do a full check under part p and certify a house (certainly seems to be a possibility for landlords) and so I'm sure he can check that the wires I've fixed and the connections I've made are up to spec and then issue a cert to me (if he is happy to do so) - only like letting someone else to do first fix?

he can give a PIR. not a part P compliance cert
