About to fit a rangemaster range cooker with hood into the kitchen. previous owner of the house was definately NOT an electrician. ripped out the old cooker hood that was wired in with lighting flex, connected in the middle (hidden behind the hood) by twisting together the two ends of cable and covering with tape.....told you he wasn't brainy. want to put hood into existing system electrics. Do i need an FCU along with the cooker fcu??
