Hi, anyone that can help me out here? Is there replacements out there I can get to replace my broken stove knob? It broke off a couple years ago but haven't come to terms to replace it yet.

I am seeing you can get universal ones, would these 90% of the time just slot in?

Yeah. Just look online for replacement.
Model number may get you more specific advice..
Plenty of spares available for stoves

Could be on the side of door. Or
around the opening.
On the back or top of cooker

From what I think I can see in your photo, you need a type of knob where the socket to fit on the shaft, protrudes below the knob. Like this style, but I am not recommending this particular one - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/31431389...Z2NESbNlBif2q08MV1qp6C3w==|tkp:BlBMUN6lvcy6Zg

The other style of knob, fits a shaft which sticks up above the plate, so the bottom of the knob is completely flat, which is of no use to you. If you are buying one, worth getting a full set, to replace all of them, for a match.

I have found the broken original piece, would glueing it together not work?

Unlikely for very long. There is usually a metal spring part, around the outside of the D, have you lost that?
Wasn't aware of the spring but nothing seemed to come off with it. I am not totally sure. I just needed something similar, I am not bothered if it is slightly different. Just want to make sure it is the right size.
