Not sure if this is the right section

I bought an induction hob and a double electric oven 2nd hand.
want to put the oven in a tall larder type unit to the right of the hob.
Is there any minimum distance it must be legally/sensiblty or can I put the two cabinets next to each other?

I plan on putting the induction hob in it's own unit (no idea what you call the base unit - still trying to find out so I can buy one)
and ideally the oven right beside it as my kitchen is quite small

Im aso planning on putting an extraction fan above the hob.
what height obove the hob should I fit it please?

I'm assuming I need an electrician to connect both of them up?
There is a socket in the kitchen where the existing dual fuel cooker is connected but I "think" I will need to electric connectors - one for each unit?

The 2 cabinets can go next to each other.
The cabinet for the hob is called a base unit. Depending on the depth of the hob, you may need a base unit without draws. You then buy a worktop & cut a hole in it.
The extracter instructions will tell you the distance from the hob.
Yes you will need an electrcian
