my cooker has just recently started tripping my cu.... it used to work before but now when i put it on it makes a humming noise then when it gets up to a certain temperature cuts out the rcd circuit its on at the board? any ideas? im guessin it needs some new part.

Most likely suspect would be a failed element.
Do you mean RCD, or MCB??
