Hi
I fully accept the need to overboard my bathroom floor with 12mm ply but how do I deal with the "step up" from the landing into the bathroom?
Is there a purpose made trim to cope with such a difference in levels?
I suppose I could put down black and yellow hazard tape and a "mind the step" sign but her in doors wouldn't see the funny side.
What do you experts use?
Many thanks
Dave

You could make a Bull Nose threshold strip from a piece of timber.

Quadrant is a section of a circle. A bullnose is a rounded rectangle. Not the same shape at all.

It doesn't look as good. An inch wide threshold strip with a rounded edge looks far nicer.

By the time you account for the height in the ply, adhesive and tile, you don't have a lot of option to get an inch wide "bullnose" because you're already at quadrant dimensions.

Thanks for your suggestions, gents.

What is "no more ply"?

Dave

Ah, found it, backer board.
