I need to fit a new Torbeck valve to my loo and fix a service valve on the supply pipe. Because the pipe runs barely 1mm from the wall there isn't sufficient room to incorporate the sv on the existing ppe. Therefore I will need to remove a piece (about a couple of feet) of the existing pipe which entails cutting it under the floorboard and replacing it with a new run of pipe. When I come to connect the new pipe is there likely to be any problem with using the copper push fit connectors like Cupro for instance? Or would it be better to use a compression fit?

The push fit fittings are very good as long as you fit them right and to be honest it's as easy as it looks so I would favour them over the compression fittings.
