push on fittings

I know a lot of your lads dont like push on fittings but can you tell me if the inserts need to be used when using copper pipe and cupro fit or speedfit.

Inserts are only required with plastic pipe. Make sure copper pipe is cut with a tube cutter that will leave a slight inward taper on the clean cut - do not use a hack saw.
