copper tubing

Can copper tubing be run under screed to extend central heating to a conservatory.If it can, must it be protected by some sort of tape?.

it would seem that you can NOT use tape, but either plastic coated copper pipe or put it in a duct. (I know because i just looked here ) see 4.2.2
