I am trying to ensure I am not making any big mistakes for the new radiators and valves I am going to buy.

Vertical radiators and they have the inputs and outputs on the sides. The feeds come out of the wall, so I need a "corner" radiator valve, just like in the photo.

1) How can we insert/remove this valve there does not seem to be any room to play?

2) the radiators are new and the radiator tails that come with the valves simply screw into the body, no special tools needed?

3) Some tails have a rubber seal which means they must be inserted fully, but many have no seal, so PTFE tape for those? I can imagine a lot of leaks...

4) Once the tails are fitted we never ever remove them anymore, we simply service by undoing the compression fitting on the valve side?

Rad valves last a very long time.
Trv Heads, er, not so much in my experience.
The more bijoux the device, the harder parts are to find for it.

I imagine you'll have to chuck the whole thing away once it fails (5-10 years)?
Just check that the sizing is common so that you can replace.

I like the rubber seal but these break down. How easy is it to get a new one?
