Morning chaps,

Quick question, some time ago I posted about my kitchen floor and filling in the gaps //www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=219044

I've now been graced with some time off work, and SWMBO has hinted she'd like me to get my arse in gear so I want to check the mix ratio..

I was thinking 1 Cement 2 Pea Shingle/Gravel 2 Sharp sand. Sound reasonably sensible?

The only other option to patching this up I could think of would be to rip up the asphalt, put down a layer of dpm then a screed of approx 30-40mm is that a "sensible" option or should I be thinking of something else? Just thought, under the asphalt is we believe the old style flags probably the original from when the house was built if that helps at all?

Thanks
Rob
