cors club 1.2 16v air idle control valve

My son has had his 1999 1.2 16v corsa into the main dealers for code reading because the eng man. light is on and off . loss of power or erratic acceleration. The result one code present for throttle valve adjuster one code not present for mass air flow meter.

I have no problems fitting the mass air flow meter but where is the throttle valve adjuster , turns out to be idle air control valve and wiring harness, where about is it and is it a diy'ers job. Maybe im still into 1950's cars but point me in the right direction and i'll still show im worth keeping..... hopefully.

Very common fault on 1.0 & 1.2 16v Corsa's

IAC valve is a black component, located just to the left of the throttle body housing when standing in front of the vehicle.

Easy to replace, multi plug to unplug and a few torx head screws to take out
refitting is the reverse, easy peasy

Part number is 90531999

we replaced more of these than I care to mention when I worked at a local vauxhall dealership
