i would charge 2men for 4 days at 140 per day. plus profit, plus contingency.

there are probably other things like wallstarters and other sundries that have not been added.

i practically live the building trade and it is not easy money as far as i'm concerned. if you don't like the price then either shop around or don't accept.

Some interesting replies. Does anyone know the hourly rate for this sort of job. I reckon he used about 400 bricks and 40 breezblocks, 2 bags of ballast 3 bags of sand plus cement.

£2800 probably sounds about right, in your 1st post you said it was for foundations which i thought was just the digging and concrete and not building the dwarf wall up

We've got our drawf wall up now and floor in and it was probably 4 days work for 2 of them
