Looks like there were some bankers on board:

A multi-million pound lawsuit has been filed in the US by passengers who were onboard the Costa Concordia when it ran aground in Italy.
The six passengers are claiming £292m in damages against the owners of the cruise liner, Costa Cruise lines and its parent company Carnival Corp.
The lawyer representing the passengers said the stress of the disaster off the Italian coast would never leave his clients.

I'm registering my claim since I was a stowaway and will never forget the experience. I'm not going to settle for anything less than £10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.47, plus expenses (my new Asda George suit got ruined) which seems fair enough to me

I'm going to have to ask for more since since the tragedy I've not been able to do any washing up because of my fear of water. My wife isn't happy one little bit about this - looks like my marriage, like the Costa, may be on the rocks too. They owe me for this.
