A newbie question from a newbie who's never tiled before...

I'm after some light cream/white stone mosaic tiles. I'm looking for honed (i.e. smooth), not tumbled (like a sponge).

These are going on the wall at the back of the kitchen worktops, and I can't imagine the tumbled ones looking too good after a liberal splashing with bolognese sauce.

If anyone knows anywhere that sells smooth stone mosaic then please tell me where. Alternatively...

Would it be possible to wipe grout across the whole lot, filling in all the holes in the tiles? Is this what's normally done with mosaic anyway? Or would the sealant (that I understand should be applied first) stop it from sticking? And would this look really rubbish?!

Many thanks in advance of any replies.
