Could anybody tell me whether the tiles below would work on a roof with a circa 14 degree pitch?

If not, would it be possible to get something that looked VERY similar in size, colour, shape that would work on a 14 degree pitch?

Many thanks

Thanks Al.

Do you mean there is nothing that would even look similar to that tile that would suit a 14 degree pitch?

The link you provided also seems to suggest there are a number of systems out there that allow you to install tiles at a lower pitch than recommended by manufacturer.

I suppose it's better to try and avoid these?

Hi TT

No, I'm not sure at all! It's an estimate I've done for something in the planning stages. My estimate is that the roof has to fall 0.9m over 3m and I think that works out at about 14 degrees.

The design could probably be changed to make it 17 degrees but not the 35 degrees suggested earlier.

Thanks

I make that 16.7, although obviously if its a pitch roof 0.9 high and 3m wide each half will slope at twice that.

Thanks Daniel. It is a mono pitch roof coming out from the side of a building and sloping downwards and outwards.

If it is over 16 degrees as you say then I'm sure it could be tweaked to make it 17.5 degrees.

I've emailed Redland with the photo to see what they suggest matches the best.

Many thanks
