I have a closed coupled toilet that keeps over flowing, I did have a torbeck float valve that wasnt shutting off so I changed that for a fluidmaster so now it shuts off but still over flows? It is a high pressure water flow and a hard water area, when it happened before I cleaned the syphon and it seemed to work, ive tried this again and still it hasnt helped - any suggestions? Thankyou

syphon won't have nothing to do with it overflowing.
try adjusting the fluidmaster float so its abit lower.

Is it a push button toilet by any chance?

If so then it is letting by on the syphon, as the rubber washer needs cleaning or replacing.
