Hi All,
Just as in the title. I've run the X800 through the system but it has been in there for a few weeks now. Recently the new Grundfos 15/60 has started to stick so to speak. All I need to do to get it running is flick it up to 3 for a second then back down to 2.
This is bit of a pain as when I get home from work the house is chilly whereas the stat should be keepin things tickety boo.
Should I try drain off asap in case all the crud now running around is settling around the pump when it stops or does anyone know of any other sneaky thing I should be looking out for.
Many Thanks
Paul.

why have you put x800 in for a few weeks?? thats too long. drain it immediately.

xmas and young family and cold weather so i had to take a day off work to drop the system so the heating could go off.
I'll get to it straight away.
Cheers

Cheers Andy,
Managed to drain off about half the system tonight before having to refill and turn the heat back on. Will hopefully drop the system on the weekend and add inhibitor.
Paul.

X800 should only be left for a MAXIMUM for 7 days

Andy

Did you just make that up?

Please feel free to contact the tech department and they can advised you, from 1hr to 7 days.

Is that a new instruction. I've spoke to them a while ago (maybe 2years) and they were adamant that it can stay in until your happy with performance there's also no mention of this on the actual product.

DS40. Why use anything else when this stuff is the mutz nutz. It'll find every weak joint - GOOD as they can be repaired and you know the system is 'sound'.

Dont even bother with x800. It wont clean a dirty cup let alone a heating system.

No idea why the MANu's say if must be drained after 7 days. You would cause more damage putting evian in the system.

Mr. W.

Have to agree with Rob, no where on their site or brochures does it say it must be removed. But I'm sure it used to say it.
Can only assume it has been tamed down a bit as it was murder if some idiot left it in.

Funnily enough, I emailed Sentinel the other day to ask how long I could leave X800 in my CH system for.

They said there was no limit as such, just that it will start to lose effectiveness after around 4 weeks.
