I am thinking of not having a conventional oven, but am looking into a countertop oven (as its only me to cook for). Does anybody have experience of these - do they cook roast veg, jackets and casseroles etc... Do they work like a conventional bigger oven? And lastly would I have to have a cooker switch installed or do they just plug into a normal electric wall socket?

Any help would be useful :) Thanks Karen

Will work from 13amp plug.

You need to work out what you want, I have a conventional built-in double oven, I also have a combination m/wave, I have never done a roast in this but I have used the oven/grill & m/wave combination, I think it works ok & is also easier to clean than a conventional oven.
