Sorry, I was in a hurry. To be a bit more specific the sounder output is rated at 500mA and the strobe output at 500mA. One premier Oddysey 2E applies 285mA to the sounder output in SAB mode.
Instead of running one sounder in SCB mode it's a better idea to run both in Low Current mode. There is a lower reduction in volume in LC mode.
Ah, sorry, misunderstood. They should be ok in SAB mode on a separate 3A PSU.
