Hello

I have just installed a Texecom Premier Elite 48 and I had a couple of minor programming basics to ask. Here is one of them.

I have setup a user with a arm/disarm code as well as assigning a prox tag.
During disarm I attempted to use the code, but the LCD returned a message stating that I had to use the prox tag.

Does anyone know how to set the user to be able to disarm using either code or prox?

It is possible the user may forget the prox tag and need to use their code.

The only workaround I can think of is giving that person two users on the system, one for prox and one for code, but I would rather not if possible.

Thanks

That's one of the DD243 restrictions intended to reduce false alarms due to users forgetting their PIN.

From the Texecom FAQ:

Q) Why does it ask me for a fob to disarm the system? Can I turn it off?

A) This is on at default on the grade 3 panels. This is turned off in the setup users user locked by timer, take the C off.
