just found out that i passed my 2391 today and was wandering if there any coures higher than that, just eager to get my teeth stuck into more

What courses have you passed already?
Do you have an engineering background? NC and then HNC electrical and electronic enginnering is a good one to get under your belt.

All the qualifications are graded and "O" Level is level 2 and "A" level is level 3 then HND or foundation Degree level 5 honours degree level 6 and so on.

Up to level 3 is considered as further education and after level 3 is higher education.

All apprentice type qualifications are level 2 or 3 and your 2391 is level 3 so to go to next level you need to go into higher education.

However you can go sidewards and do courses for PLC, Health and Safety etc. The standard C&G 2330 does cover a wider field than 2391 but why do you want the course?

If you want a qualification to get a job then likely you want to move to level 5 but if you want just more knowledge then PLC course but all these are very local and because my local college does Higher National Certificate (HNC) Technology (Electrical and Electronic / Mechanical Technology) (Two year course : 1st year Tuesday / 2nd year Thursday) Awarded by Glyndwr University it does not mean other colleges will also offer the qualification. They may offer something better? One point to remember once you move from further to higher education you are only allowed two stabs at any level and you can't go down a level so if you did the HNC then wanted to go into IT instead your stumped as you can't do the level 4 unless you pay for all fees.

So be very sure what you want before going into higher education.

got all the basic apprentice qualifications, 2360, nvq lv3, 17th edition, still got to do the PAT test course. i just want to learn more for my own knowledge really rather than getting another job, is there any benifit from branching to electronics?
