Hi All,

Please could someone give me some guidance on what to cover a new 100mm plastic soil pipe with. The pipe will be running below the insulation and through the hardcore underneath a new concrete floor.

The pipe runs internally along side an outside wall, is about 1.8 metres long, will have 150mm polystyrene insulation, 100/150mm concrete and 50mm screed laid on top.

I've read it should be encased in concrete, I've also read it should be surrounded with 100mm pea-shingle.

Kind regards.

Concur with Woody had sam issue on recent job BI was happy to cover with Pea gravel only. I doubt anyone would recommend using concrete.
