Hi,

What are the building regs etc for soil pipes that run within the hardcore layer of the floor. Do they need encasing with anything? i have laid them in 10mm pea shingle but wondering if they need any further protection before pouring the reinforced slab.

i don't know for sure, but in my recent extension it ran just in pea shingle and was all approved by building control.
