Cover Inspection Chamber with patio..

Hiya,
I would like to lay patio in my garden, however the area that I would like to cover has this thing called 'Inspection Chamber' as picture below. Would really appreciate any advise.

Carefully plot out your patio so that the cover is covered by an entire slab. Build the patio fully then add the slab without fixing it down
There are steel frames designed for this that include a means of lifting and you'd plan the patio to accommodate one

Ours was done with a slab set into a removable lid, has a seal underneath and the receiver is fitted over the chamber (and sealed to it).

Needs repointing after 10 years but that's a job for next year..
