Hello everyone,

What are your thoughts on covering an unsightly patch of recurring efflorescence with lining paper on an internal painted/ plastered wall?

I'm also aware alkali resisting primers are availiable that might help, anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks,

Rich.

edit: the wall in question is above ground.

Hi the problem you have is moisture and this can not be solved useing wallpaper moisture will find its way out. Check there is no structual defect first if not brush away the salts and allow it to dry out by brushing salts off efentully it will stop applying more materials will just add to the moisture.[/quote]
