Hi, I have a plug socket that I want removed but it's on a ring and the cable goes up the wall into the ceiling which is a flat roof extension, I'd rather not start cutting away the ceiling. Is there a way to plaster in the socket safely? Thanks
Then you have to remove the cables from the wall. You must not have live cables in a wall, unless there is something to denote the presence of the cable (socket, switch, blank plate, etc).
CED make plastic 2 gang blanking plates that are only 2mm deep. You can paint over those. There are not totally invisible but less noticable than most other blanking plates.
