Hey guys,

Between a mixture of stupidity and not paying attention I touched up my mum’s sitting room with a soft sheen instead of the Matt. It dawned on me quite quickly and thankfully I didn’t continue.

Can a waterbased white undercoat be used to save sanding? Don’t want her stuff converted in dust.

Just for future reference should anyone encounter this problem. Matt can be painted over Soft Sheen without any unnecessary prep work. Both paints are water based and thus compatible with each other. The difference is that the Soft Sheen has a bit more “vinyl” added to it to make slightly more durable. I was speaking with a pro :)
