Hi guys,

I haven't popped in for ages, so here is another dummy DIY question.

We've peeled away the polystyrene ceiling tiles (evil things) in the kitchen and have managed to smooth down the surface not too badly. However, the ceiling has a few unsightly bits which require camoflaging. Ultimately, we would like eventually to get a plasterer in to do the whole ceiling, but that's not an option just yet, and we'd quite like to get it looking reasonable before then.

What are the best options? We'd rather not paper, and were thinking of painting but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
